Software Test Engineer - Kulim Kedah

Responsibilities:
 Essential Functions & Responsibilities
•Execute test scripts provided by the QA Leads.
•Document test results in HPQC on a daily basis
•Document any defects that were identified during testing procedures in HPQC
•Participate in two calls per week to plan and discuss testing to be executed during the week. Create projects and assign users in HP Quality Center
•Create tests scripts based on functional specs and requirements
•Execute regression testing scripts utilizing HP Quicktest Professional
•Create projects and assign users in HP Quality Center
•Assist in maintaining HP Quality Center project structures and configuration as needed.
•Create automated test scripts (Visual Basic) for repeatable use.
•Execute performance testing utilizing the HP Load-runner tool
Experience:                       
•5 years experience utilizing Quality Assurance methodologies and processes within a QA and/or support role with an emphasis on Business Applications.
•Experience working with enterprise-level implementation of an ERP and applications such as SAP, CRM, and HRIS/PeopleSoft.
•2 years experience with HP Quality Center, HP Quicktest Professional creating and running automated scripts, HP Quality Center Administration skills.
•Proven understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Quality Lifecycle.
•Proven ability to develop test plans and test cases/scripts required.
•Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues on all levels in a multicultural, fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
•Working knowledge of the systems interfaces with the business operations workflow and a conceptual understanding of the corporate and departmental information system strategies.

Requirements:
•4 year degree in IT, business administration, or related field required
•At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
•Applicants must be willing to work in Kulim,Kedah.
•Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
