Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing all construction activities and monitor site progress
Monitor site progress and ensure work done according to specifications, drawings and BQ requirements
Responsible for ensuring all civil & structural construction / drawings are in compliance with the requirements and specifications by the authority
Responsible for monitoring and controlling sub-contractor’s workmanship quality and work progress to ensure compliance with design specifications and health and safety standards
Responsible for establishing and monitoring a quality control system on the site and ensuring corrective actions are attended by sub-contractor
Ensure construction and/ or installation and general workmanship quality are in accordance with Approved Drawings and Specification
Review work-in-progress and work performed, resolve issues, report defective work and approve the contractor’s testing procedure
Able to lead site team comprising Site Supervisors & other site staff
Liaise and coordinate with all relevant parties pertaining to overall site matters
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil), Structural or equivalent degree in civil/M&E engineering
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Experience in integrated commercial high rise buildings and mixed development with deep basement would be an added advantage
Experienced in bored piling, micro piling, diaphragm wall construction, jack-in precast piling, caisson deep excavation and familiar with top down construction method
Well versed in architecture, structural, mechanical & electrical works
Good knowledge of construction & property standard operating procedures
Knowledge in Green Building Index (GBI) project construction would be an added advantage
Able to communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, Architects and relevant parties
Exposed to CONQUAS & QLASSIC
Able to work under pressure and deliver within committed deadlines
Required to work at project site
